Blood Collection Needle
A Blood collection needle is a core part of the blood collection system. One end is used to puncture a vein, and the other end has a rubber needle sleeve for inserting into the butyl rubber stopper of the blood collection tube. Blood collection is completed by the negative pressure of the vacuum tube. Common types of blood collection needles include simple straight needles, butterfly blood collection needles, and safety blood collection needles with built-in retractable or sliding sheaths, the latter of which can further reduce the incidence of needlestick injuries.
