Indwelling Needle
Indwelling needles are medical devices used in clinical treatment for multiple or continuous intravenous infusions. An intravenous indwelling needle has two core parts: a flexible catheter/cannula and a stainless steel puncture guide core. When the needle core, along with the catheter, has been fully inserted into the blood vessel, the needle core is withdrawn, leaving the catheter in the blood vessel for infusion.
