IV Infusion Set

An infusion set is a disposable sterile medical device used in clinical treatment to continuously and controllably infuse liquid medications into a patient’s body via intravenous access. It typically includes plastic spike, drip chamber, PVC tubing, flow regulator, rubber bulb and needle. Also, it can be flexibly equipped with different additional components according to the patient’s condition and treatment needs. For example, a micro precision filter can be added when precise drug infusion is required; an indwelling needle can be connected when long-term infusion is needed to reduce the pain by repeated punctures; a heparin cap or needleless connector can be added when intermittent drug administration or drug addition is required.
