Unlike male luer lock connector, rotating male luer lock connector’s housing which has threads and internal tapered tube are designed as separate components; when the housing is rotated to tighten the female luer fitting, the internal tapered tubes does not rotate along with it. This design keeps the infusion tubing straight and unobstructed at all times, while also offering convenience and saving effort for medical workers.
