Rubber Plug Stopper for IV Indwelling Needle
Rubber plug stopper is a crucial component within an indwelling needle that prevents blood seepage. An intravenous indwelling needle has two core parts: a flexible catheter/cannula and a stainless steel puncture guide core. When the needle core, along with the catheter, has been fully inserted into the blood vessel, the needle core is withdrawn, leaving the catheter in the blood vessel for infusion.
The rubber plug stopper is made of polyisoprene rubber, with good chemical performance and aging performance. It is located in the path of the needle core’s withdrawal to avoid blood seepage. For detailed specifications, please refer to the table below.
