IV Transfusion Set
A blood transfusion set is a disposable sterile medical device used in clinical treatment to infuse whole blood or blood components into a patient via intravenous access. Blood transfusion set typically includes plastic spike, drip chamber(inside with blood filter), tubing, flow regulator, rubber bulb and needle. Unlike infusion solution filter, blood tubular filter’s pore size is typically 200μm, preventing large blood clots and allow blood cells to pass through smoothly. Also, it can be flexibly equipped with different additional components according to the patient’s condition, like y injection site, needleless connector, heparin cap.
